This is all on Reason, IDK how to do on FL (or whatever you may use) but look up tutorials on things I just mentioned and then experiment with how ordering things differently changes the sound. I'm trying to give you an idea of how much tweaking you have to do with your instruments for a lead type sound, pads etc, basically high end instruments. Reason I brought that up though is to give you an idea of how much tweaking i remade an instrument from one of his tracks that basically has an electric piano sample and I believe two synths layered with different attacks, a delay on one, with CV routing, each instrument has a personal filter, as well as one also having an EQ, and then a filter for the entire instrument and probably about to put a little distortion and reverb on it and possibly a gate or sidechain compression and or arpegiator. I look at his stuff sort of similar to The Weeknd in that like Spaceman Ant said you need to experiment. Get good with synths and putting effects on them.
